Background

A technical foundation, evolving into a wider creative practice.

With a technical foundation in software development, Marc developed a wider creative practice that first found expression through photography, and later through film, visual storytelling, and digital product creation.

For more than twenty years, photography has remained central to that journey. Working at a semi-professional level, Marc has built a body of work shaped by atmosphere, place, timing, and observational discipline, with selected images receiving industry recognition.

Based in Brighton, UK, Marc draws ongoing inspiration from the city’s liberal culture, coastline, changing light, and longstanding relationship with moving image. More recently, that same sensibility has extended into AI-assisted short film and video creation, always with an emphasis on intention, craft, and emotional clarity.

Technical foundation

Software development remains an important foundation — not as a separate identity, but as a way of shaping digital experiences with clarity, precision, and structure.

Creative evolution

Photography, film, and digital work are treated as connected disciplines, each carrying the same interest in atmosphere, story, and visual impact into a different form.

Brighton influence

Brighton’s mix of artistic openness, cultural variety, coastal light, and film history continues to shape the work as much through people and atmosphere as through place itself.

Approach

Across still image, moving image, and digital form, the work is guided by mood, restraint, clarity, and emotional presence.

Photography note

In Marc Pinter’s photography, editing is limited to tonal refinement and contrast treatment, without altering the visual content of the image itself.
