Far from Earth, two travellers share moments of quiet companionship, playfulness and discovery aboard their spacecraft. As their journey continues, affection grows into something more.
Their story is carried by music, expressions and the extraordinary views beyond the windows — a deeply human connection unfolding against the vastness of space.
Behind the film
A story that began with music.
Fields of Stars began with a piece of music that gradually unfolded into a love story. I imagined two people travelling together through deep space, discovering affection, playfulness and ultimately love as their journey carried them further from Earth.
The film grew from that musical narrative. I shaped the scenes to follow its emotional progression, from their first meeting aboard the spacecraft to the intimacy of a relationship developing in an immense, unfamiliar universe.
This was my first music film, brought together through original music, creative direction and AI-assisted filmmaking. Above all, I wanted to create something beautiful, hopeful and emotionally engaging.
