A privacy-first daily puzzle game combining polished UX, share-first design, and a modern edge-based technical architecture.
Project summary
Daily Emoji Riddle is a fast, privacy-first daily puzzle game inspired by the simplicity and share momentum of Wordle, but shaped as a more premium audience-facing experience. Each day, players solve a single emoji-based riddle within a specific category, using up to three guesses and receiving hints after incorrect attempts.
The project was conceived, designed, engineered, and shipped end to end by Marc Pinter. It brings together product design, UX/UI, engineering, deployment, and live iteration into a single coherent experience — one that feels playful and lightweight on the surface, but is carefully structured underneath.
A major focus of the project is its share-first loop. After solving, players can generate spoiler-free share text and a polished share image card designed for messaging apps and social platforms. Alongside this, the game maintains a deliberately privacy-first architecture: no login, no account creation, and no third-party tracking, with optional nickname and city details tied to a recovery-friendly device-based identity.
